5 Things I Never Said, Till Living on an Ashram

1. “Ugg, I wish she would stop coughing! I am trying to play with my chi!”

2. “Maybe I should stop wearing a bra too? ….Nah”

3. “I have officially had to much fiber. If I eat one more vegetable my stomach will rebel.”

4. “I wish I could get some freaking privacy in this bathroom.”

5. “Wow, things are really crazy right now, but living on the Ashram makes me feel so loved and supported I know we will be okay.”

Thank you to the crazy and loving lifestyle of Kashi Ashram!

This brings me back to maybe 1970, reading a fiction book about young hippy-types, which i was enjoying until they all sat together on the floor before supper and held hands and chanted “Aum”. That was just TOO hokey for me to believe. Fast-forward a few years….:)
