Betty’s Chocolate Truffles

INGREDIENTS

4 cups powdered sugar (1 16oz pkg)

1 pkg. (8oz) cream cheese at room temperature

5 one-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate (baking chocolate), melted

1 tsp. vanilla

and chopped toasted almonds, good Dutch cocoa, jimmies, coconut.

 

Gradually beat powdered sugar into the cream cheese, mixing well after each addition. Add chocolate and vanilla. Mix well, and chill for several hours. Shape into 1-inch balls & roll in almonds/cocoa/jimmies/coconut. Chill again. ~ 48 pieces
