Durgaya Palmieri is a dynamic and reflective writer, aficionado off local cafes and lifelong student of life. In 2013, Durgaya co-founded Sebastian Yoga Studio, where she thrived as co-owner and lead teacher. Under her guidance, the studio became a hub for growth, laughter, and empowerment, embracing the spirit of Seva (selfless service) and community outreach. Sebastian Yoga wasn’t just a place to practice—it was a conscious community where students could deepen their journeys with joy and connection. Beyond the studio, Durgaya served as Lead Educator for Connected Warriors, a nonprofit dedicated to providing trauma-conscious yoga to military veterans free of charge. She traveled the country, training yoga instructors to support veterans navigating PTSD and other challenges. |
In 2021, Durgaya expanded her expertise by becoming certified in BodyTalk, an innovative approach to holistic health that strengthens the mind-body-spirit connection. While working on integrating this work into a Chinese Medicine degree, she embarked on a deeply personal fertility journey that profoundly reshaped her path, opening new doors to meaning and purpose.
Amid the challenges of infertility, Durgaya sought empowerment and connection. She discovered both through her writing and the supportive community of others who shared similar experiences. |
